Target vs K-mart

Target
I visited the Bluffton Target with the Marketing class on Thursday evening. The store was not very busy because of a rainstorm, but it still had a number of helpful employees on duty. The following is my personal observation of the store:
Parking Lot:
· Plenty of empty parking spaces due to the time and weather.
· Able to accommodate a large number of customers.
· Extremely clean and neat with an employee gathering and returning carts.
Storefront:
· Very organized and tidy.
· Attractive, clean and modern.
· Trashcan easily accessible and not overflowing.
Entryway:
· Double automatic and manual doors for both entrance and exit.
· Very contemporary appearance.
· Large carpeted area with easy access to customer service, gift registry and ATM.
Cafeteria:
· Good selection of reasonably priced fast food and ice cream bar.
· Excellent location in the front of store.
