Stress

People get stressed out by many things in their lives. Whether it’s an overdue library
book or pressure at work, everyone has a little stress in their lives. Almost every kind of stress
has negative effects. A dilemma that causes stress to one person could be another person’s
everyday task. There are many causes of stress in my life and I have my own ways of coping
with it, just like everyone else. Stress is very difficult for some people to deal with including
myself.
In my everyday life, I rarely get stressed out; but when it gets bad, I get in my car and
drive. Often times, I put on music to help me cope. Sometimes I even go for a walk
out on the beach by myself. I lay down, look up at the stars, and turn off my cell phone so no one
can disturb my thinking process. Occasionally, my stress gets so bad that I feel like I’m going to
have a mental breakdown; but my friends are always there to help cheer me up, and forget about
