Distinguish the myth of the wolf from reality.
In his novel Never cry wolf, Farley Mowat reports about his trip to the Arctic and his life with the wolves living there. Mowat was sent to the Arctic to find proof that the wolves were responsible for killing the deer. Throughout his journey, Mowat is confronted with many different prejudices about wolf. Although he at first tends to believe the governments version of wolves, describing them as dangerous killers, he soon finds out that wolves are social and have their own ways of survival rather than being blood-lusting killers.
