Macbeth is a classic play written by William Shakespeare and is a tale telling the struggle between good and evil. It is a story of murder, corruption, and betrayal, in which a prospected king is tempted with visions of reigning over the entire Scottish kingdom. Temptation is a key element throughout the epic. Everyone faces temptation throughout life, but in Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth, is so focused on the pursuit of being King that he is willing to kill anyone that stands in his way. This leads to a breakdown of his character throughout the play. Macbeth ‘s classic story, reveals the never ending battle between good and evil within everyone.
Historically, everyone at one point or another is torn between good and bad decisions. Fortunately, the human conscious, usually leads a person to the right choice.
