Hail House

Everyone has at least one experience in their lifetime that changes their outlook on life, their appreciation for what they have, and them as a whole. For me, that experience occurred last Christmas when my family and I visited Hale House. Hale House, which was established by Mother Hale in 1972, is a non-profit organization that helps children whose mothers cannot care for them. I had read about Hale House on the internet in November and I decided to tell my parents about it and suggested that we take a trip there when it got closer to the holiday season. From the beginning of November to the middle of December we collected toys, books, food, clothing, games, and many other things to give to the children when we went. Our living room was filled with bags upon bags of gifts for the children we would soon visit. On December 15th we loaded up the car and drove into the city.
