As I shuffled into the Koury Center at 8:50 on Monday morning, the only question in my mind revolved around when I would be able to go back to my new room and get more sleep. I stared drearily at the orientation schedule in my “Elon University” planner and as soon as I saw the words “Academic Message”, I assumed, far too quickly, that for the next hour I would be forced to listen to another professor lecture to us about the importance of getting enough rest and going to class.
