Behind The Scences of "Remember The Titans"

In today’s society the world of sport is thought to be the great ‘universal equalizer’. Although, through the careful examination of this world one can identify contrasting ideals. It is through and the use of media, which is often an avenue which perpetuates and magnifies the reflection of greater society, where one can gauge exactly how far our world has progressed or if, in fact, it has reached a point of stagnation. Most recently, Disney produced a highly acclaimed and heralded movie called, Remember The Titans. This movie has been regarded as an accurate depiction of how differences can divide and be overcome for a universal goal. It is for this reason that I have chosen to analyze and critique its accuracy and success, of addressing inequalities and providing its audience with a realistic positive example.
