Aristotle

Every person in society abides by his or her own set of ethics. They conduct themselves, as a rule based on those very ethics and what is appropriate for them in the environment they are placed in. While people are very different in nature and may follow their own ethics, they are categorized as a result of the work done by ethical theorists. As time moves on and society changes, the way people practice their ethics may change but fundamentally they are true to their type.
Aristotle is not well known for his ethical theories but he should be. He is a theorist who was far ahead of his time and used ethics as a basis for much of his scientific work. Aristotle spoke of ethics being more about personal character than anything else and this paper will tell you about the life and perspective of a man who is quoted often but understood by few.
