Burger King Restaurants was started in Miami,Florida as a single restaurant in 1954. The intention of the founder was to create a restaurant where fast service,good food and reasonable pricing were priorities. The Fast-food craze had begun and the chance to expand and experiment in this business had too.

Location plays a massive part in any business as one can not survive on word of mouth alone. A hopeful franchise owner must have something that complies with the criteria for a site ; 35 000+ square feet , on a corner , high traffic on two major streets around it and good visibility for signage and building.
