Adapting to New Culture

Talents, experiences, achievements, unique points of view these qualities help determine weather or not applicants find success at college and weather or not they are ready to deal with the responsibility of independent living. Not surprisingly, these are the same requisite qualities needed to lead a successful life.

I owned my unique social experiences to my multicultural back ground. Born in the Philippines. When I left the Philippines for the United state at age of 20, I felt overwhelmed. Not only I need to learn a new language. I need to learn a new philosophy, one completely at odds with my culture upbringing.
