A View from the Bridge

The theme of “A View from the Bridge” is about loyalty. Loyalty is a very important part of the Sicilian culture; it is a principal that the Sicilians live by, it’s an unwritten law. In Sicily you can be punished by death if you rat on someone; the punishment doesn’t come from the law, it comes from the people, and nobody says nothing.
